A pH meter is a scientific instrument that measures the hydrogen-ion activity in water-based solutions, indicating its acidity or basicity expressed as pH.
The process of determining the quantity of a sample by adding measured volumes of a titrant (normally via a burette) until the end-point, at which essentially all of the sample has reacted, is reached.
A micrometer, sometimes known as a micrometer screw gauge, is a device incorporating a calibrated screw widely used for accurate measurement of components in mechanical engineering and machining as well as most mechanical trades, along with other metrological instruments such as dial, vernier, and digital calipers
Instrument for comparing the weights of two bodies, usually for scientific purposes, to determine the difference in mass (or weight).
The redwood viscometer consist of vertical cylindrical oil cup with an orifice in the centre of its base . The orifice can be closed by a ball . A hook pointing upward serve as a guide mark for filling the oil . The cylindrical cup is surrounded by the water bath.
travelling microscope is an instrument for measuring length with a resolution typically in the order of 0.01mm.
travelling microscope is an instrument for measuring length with a resolution typically in the order of 0.01mm.
A vernier scale is a visual aid to take an accurate measurement reading between two graduation markings on a linear scale by using mechanical interpolation; thereby increasing resolution and reducing measurement uncertainty by using Vernier acuity to reduce human estimation error.
